Graduate of the Department of History of Western European and Russian Culture of the Faculty of History of St. Petersburg State University. Defended his thesis on the topic "Ideas about the synthesis and methodological unity of the human sciences in the Russian humanities of the late XIX - early XX century" under the guidance of Doctor of Philology, Professor Y. K. Rudenko. In 2009, he entered the postgraduate course of the History Faculty of St. Petersburg State University (Department of History of Western European and Russian Culture). In 2012, he defended his PhD thesis on the topic "Academic humanitarian community and state policy in Russia (1914-1930)".

Since 2009 — Assistant, since 2014 — Associate Professor of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University. From 2009 to 2016 - Researcher at the Faculty of History (Institute of History) of St. Petersburg State University. Since 2016 — Associate Researcher at the Sociological Institute of the Russian Academy of Sciences. From 2017 to the present, Associate Professor of the Department of Problems of Interdisciplinary Synthesis in the Field of Social Sciences and Humanities of the Faculty of Liberal Arts and Sciences of St. Petersburg State University. Author of more than 170 publications, including 3 monographs.
