ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY: SWEDEN'S EXPERIENCE FOR RUSSIA

This article examines the environmental policy of Sweden. Special emphasis is placed on the disposal and sorting of garbage in the country, as well as on the algorithm of working with especially dangerous household waste. In the article the types of waste that remain from human activities are described in more detail. In addition, attention is paid to the comparative analysis of waste disposal in Sweden and in Russia. Sweden is presented as an example for copying models of household waste sorting and recycling and further establishing of similar systems in the Russian Federation. The article demonstrates the necessity of these actions to guarantee the protection of the environment from the negative human impact, reduction in the number of landfills, as well as the maximization of the possible benefits for provision of new resources supplying waste recycling or reuse.
