THE E-COMMERCE MARKET DEVELOPMENT IN THE PEOPLE’S REPUBLIC OF CHINA

This article is devoted to the study of the Chinese e-commerce market and the company "Alibaba group". In connection with the achievements in the field of information technology, the development of e-commerce is gaining momentum. In addition, the current situation with the COVID-19 pandemic also contributed to this process. This is the relevance of this article. The paper highlights China's leadership in this area and pays special attention to Alibaba Group as a global leader. It reveals various points of view on the concept of ecommerce, identifies the motives for the rapid and successful development of e-commerce in China, as well as the reasons for the success of the company "Alibaba group". As a result of the study, it was revealed that the main reason for such a rapid development of the Chinese e-commerce market was China's state support for this area. As for the company itself, it has become a leader among all Chinese companies due to the provision of a wide range of services and a complete customer security system.
