The paper attempts to sketch the general history of the Christian theological school at Caesarea, which originated in the III cent. A. D. in the result of Origen’ moved from Alexandria. This school has existed throughout of all early Byzantine period and was not so much theologian as an educational center in the Palestinian region, as the city of Caesarea during the period under review was the administrative center of the province.
