In modern economic literature developed a number of approaches to assessing the competitiveness of the company, due to the different definitions of "competitiveness" and the subject of research the authors of different methods. The article suggests the author's systematization of methods for assessing the competitiveness in marketing. Universality of a method of Y. Akao and S. Mizuno is shown.
