RUSSIA IN THE CUSTOMS UNION AND THE WTO: THE NEW TRADE POLICY

This article explores ways to improve the efficiency of Russia's membership in the
WTO in connection with the establishment of the Customs Union of Russia-Belarus-
Kazakhstan. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of the inevitable contradictions
within the Customs Union after the entry of one of the members of the Customs Union
- Russia into the WTO. Identifies the main ways of further development of the
domestic business in the current situation.
