Author of over 260 publications in the field of geography, tourism and recreation, didactics of geography and nature, ecology. Editor of collective works, author of monographs, co-author of textbooks for elementary schools in the field of nature and geography, didactic nature trails around nature reserves, curricula and teacher's guides.

She cooperates with scientific, economic and educational institutions. She is a member of the Krakow Branch of the Polish Geographic Society and a juror of the District Olympiad of the Krakow Branch of the Polish Geographic Society. She prepares various expert opinions on the regional development of the Świętokrzyskie Voivodeship, is also a reviewer for scientific journals on Web of Science and Scopus, as well as for book publications in Poland and abroad. He cooperates with local government institutions and non-governmental organisations in the field of tourism and recreation and environmental education.

At bachelor and master courses (mainly tourism and recreation and geography) and post-graduate courses (geography), she conducts classes on, among others, pedagogy of free time, diploma seminar, master seminar, doctoral seminar and didactics of geography.

Within the framework of international cooperation, she co-organized international scientific conferences and seminars together with the Institute of Geography of the Herzen Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg/Russia/. In 2014-2016 and 2019 she gave lectures to geography teachers and geography students at the Herzen Pedagogical University in St. Petersburg within the framework of academic teacher exchange, as well as classes within the framework of international cooperation in which she promoted one master's degree student in 2017.

She conducts scientific research in the field of international tourism and leisure industry and has visited most European countries as well as Cuba, Mauritius, Mexico, India, Nepal, Egypt, Morocco, Jordan, Dominican Republic, Arab Emirates, Zanzibar, Peru and Bolivia.

Research interests:

His research interests focus on international tourism and recreation, leisure industry, contemporary environmental problems with particular emphasis on particulate air pollution in large cities and its impact on human health, environmental education and issues in geography and ecology.
