Cultural Interaction in Eurasia in Modern Times (Materials VII (XXIII) All-Russian Archaeological Congress)
VII (XXIII) The All-Russian Archaeological Congress was held in October 2025. At the Congress, scientists discussed research in various scientific fields. In particular, in the section «Cultural interaction in Eurasia in modern times», reports were devoted to the archaeology of modern times. The geography of the section participants was represented by the cities of Moscow, Novosibirsk, Tomsk, Omsk, Krasnoyarsk, Surgut, Rostov-na-Donu, Voronezh, Zaraysk, Ufa, Pskov, Tula, Yakutsk, Magadan, Azov, Lipetsk, Yoshkar-Ola, Tyumen, Yekaterinburg, Chelyabinsk, Khanty-Mansiysk, Barnaul, etc. The issues of identification and protection of archaeological sites, methods of their study and new discoveries were discussed. The work of the section participants demonstrated the commonality of approaches aimed at strengthening cooperation between Russian scientists in the field of studying the historical and cultural heritage of Russian settlements, prisons and cities. The research results presented at the section are of great scientific and practical importance for developing a common strategy for the preservation and popularization of Russia's cultural and historical heritage. The congress was organized by Siberian Federal University (Krasnoyarsk) and leading institutes of the Russian Academy of Sciences. The event was supported by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation, the Governor of the Krasnoyarsk Territory and other organizations.
