IMPACT OF THE CORONAVIRUS PANDEMIC ON RUSSIAN-CHINESE RELATIONS

This article is devoted to the specifics of interaction between Russia and China during the coronavirus pandemic from the beginning of 2020 to March 2021. The written work describes the main areas of interaction between the countries with each other and provides comments from Chinese and Russian politicians, which help to better assess the impact of the pandemic on the long-difficult relations between the two countries. In general, it can be concluded that despite the fact that negative elements such as sinophobia, the crisis of the tourism industry and others take place, in general, the People's Republic of China and the Russian Federation continue to successfully develop their strategic partnership. The pandemic has opened up new avenues for mutually beneficial partnerships and has also identified new challenges that need to be addressed together.
