INTERNET POLITICS OF CHINA AS A GUARANTEE TO POLITICAL STABILITY

The authors of this article investigate the problem of the closed Internet in the People's Republic of China and how this affects the political situation in the country. The relevance of this topic depends on the emergence of new Internet regulations in China, regulating the actions of Chinese citizens, and the result that is reflected at the domestic political level. For this study, the following tasks were set: to study the reasons for the emergence of censorship in China, to find out how the actions of Chinese Internet users are regulated, having studied some regulatory legal acts, and to determine how such Internet policy contributes to the maintenance of political stability in China. Based on the study, the authors came to the conclusion that the ongoing Internet policy aimed at increasing the transparency of the actions of Chinese Internet users contributes to the maintenance of political stability, as it suppresses anti-government activities.
