PARTICIPATION OF THE RUSSIAN FEDERATION IN INTEGRATION PROCESSES IN THE ASIA-PACIFIC REGION (REVIEW OF THE LATEST PUBLICATIONS)

This article analyzes the works of Russian authors, published in recent years and
devoted to the Russian Federation involvement in the integration processes in the Asia-
Pacific region. For their development at the present stage, there are tendencies towards
transregionalization and the formation of new economic partnerships – megapartnerships.
The Chinese project of the Silk Road Economic Belt is of special interest for Russia and for
the countries entering into the Eurasian Economic Union. Considering the problems that
arise in the process of implementing this project, Russian scientists and the Russian expert
community pay special attention to the possibility of combining the potentials of the
participating countries of the Chinese initiative, as well as the search for the main directions
and forms of cooperation.
