Resource management of industrial enterprises in the economy represented by
individual academic schools, each of which, along with the undoubted advantages, many
times empirically proven, has drawbacks that diminish their potential effect. The position of
economists on the effectiveness of resource management historically, are in direct
dependence on market space in which they worked. Change the stage of development of the
market will inevitably lead to a change in schools resource management. The issue of
resource control remains a pressing from the late ХIХ century to the present, the problem of
identification, assessment and use of reserves is of particular relevance in resource
management, as it directly affects the efficiency and optimality of the structure of the resource
combinations.
