THE SOVIET-CHINESE RELATIONS ON THE EVE OF WORLD WAR II

Article is devoted to the Soviet-Chinese relations during 1932–1941, economic
and military aid to China during this period and roles of the Soviet Union in
overcoming of Japanese aggression. Today among numerous problems of history of
the international relations undoubted interest is represented by the plots connected
with aspects of interstate communications of the border countries. Thus the subject of
the Soviet-Chinese relations in the years of World War II possesses the undoubted
relevance having a set of controversial issues. Separate, very interesting subjects in the
relations of two parties remained behind borders of researches so far. It and a subject
of military advisers in China in the years of war and during the premilitary period,
having many white spots. The role of the Soviet Union in the organization and support
of the powerful national liberation movement of indigenous people in China to the
second half of the 30th years - the first half of the 40th years of the XX century is quite
poorly studied or presented only incidentally in several works. In too time the volume
of this help and close contacts between the Soviet and Chinese representatives aren't
called in question that is especially important in a year of the 70 anniversary of our
general victory in World War II.
