Abstract:

In the article there is put forth a task of the analysis of features of Russian
prerevolutionary conservative journalism. Authors connect sources and character of
these features with understanding of distinction between a philosophical and
publicistic discourse. This distinction forms the contradiction acting as a motive power
of historical and philosophical process in Russia. Authors show that many problems,
put in due time by conservative journalism, keep the urgency.
