THE ASSAULT OF SAUR-MOGILA: STRATEGIC IMPORTANCE IN THE LIBERATION OF DONBASS, YESTERDAY AND TODAY

In this paper highlights aspects of the strategic importance of the battle for the
Saur - Mogila the Grave during the Donbass offensive in 1943, the safe of historical
memory in relation to the changing socio – political situation in the region and the
importance of this strategic elevation during the fighting on the territory of Donbass in
summer 2014.
