ON BOTH SIDES OF THE BATTLEFRONT

The article compares the descriptions and perceptions of the same events by
people who fought on different sides of the Soviet-German front during World War II,
analyzes memoirs of tellers about the so-called «trench truth». Basically, the authors
are the ones who were directly located on the frontline and fought near Leningrad.
