STUDENTS PETROGRAD POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE DURING THE FIRST WORLD WAR: SOME PROBLEMS OF STUDYING

The article discusses some of the problems of everyday life of students studying
Petrograd Polytechnic Institute during the First World War. The history of the mobilization
of students into the army. Formulated some controversial issues related to the
number of students of the Polytechnic Institute, enlisted in the army during the First
World War. Attention is paid to the activities of students in the service of the military
hospital set up at the Institute during the war. An attempt is made anti-war propaganda
among the students during the war. Talked about the participation of students of the
Polytechnic Institute in burning body Rasputin on the night of March 11, 1917 pointed
out that some of the circumstances of the event and the participation of students in need
of additional study. The author notes that many of the problems of history students of
the Polytechnic Institute in the First World War deserve further study.
