HISTORY OF GENDER EQUALITY IN RUSSIA DURING SOVIET PERIOD

Russia, one of the first countries in the world, proclaiming the principle of gender
equality, through 90 years were far behind many countries. Why did this happen?
Matter and peculiarities of the historical development of the country, and in the
specificity of its political culture with an established Patriarchal stereotypes, and
originality of the political system, and the issues of legislative support of gender
equality, etc. In this work discusses the causes deformation of the idea of equality and
methods of its implementation.
