PARTICULAR QUALITIES OF VATICAN APPROACH TO THE ECONOMIC CHALLENGES OF GLOBALIZATION

In this article, the author reveals the essence of John Paul II critics of economic
globalization and his polemics with the point of view that in contrast with the social
doctrine of the Vatican preaches individualism, the triumph of the market. Author
considers Vatican point of view is an ethical paradigm. It is emphasized that at the
political level became necessary to establish a new system of global governance,
aimed at strengthening of the positive and weakening potential negative impact of
globalization.
