BUSINESS ANALYST FUNCTIONS IN THE ANALYSIS OF USERS REQUIREMENTS AND HIS KEY COMPETENCIES

Abstract:

Business analysis is a young fast-moving area of business activities. Target of
business analysis is risk minimization of information systems design based on business
process description and user requirements analysis. The article deals with BA
competences according to Model of business analyst competences of IIBA. Author
argues that visual thinking is one of core competences of business analyst, such as
system and creative thinking.
