It also deals with modern educational technologies, the special characteristics of working with multinational groups, the basic forms of interactive seminars, game forms of seminars in multicultural groups. An algorithm of gaming activities for multinational groups is considered.</abstract>

These factors allow the students to avoid Interlingua in studying Russian language. The article contains the monitoring data, which shows the process of adaptation of foreign students to the Russian learning environment at Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University.</abstract>

          <abstract lang="ENG">The aims and objectives of the project "Promotion of Russian language and education in Russian language" are described in the article. The project is implemented under the initiative of the Russian Ministry of Education and Science using the resources of the State Institute of Russian Language named after Pushkin together with the university consortium, which includes Saint-Petersburg Polytechnic University after Peter the Great. The results of the project activities implementation in areas assigned to the university are shown. There are: open and distance educational courses in Russian; training of Russian as a second language for foreign teachers; research and development in the field of international education; awareness-raising activities of public interest of Russia; international exhibitions, competitions and contests participation; and literary tours for foreign students.</abstract>
