The new crisis that mankind faced was the result of significant changes in its life. Tourism is one of the most affected areas of the economy. The recovery of international tourism has been slow and uneven since the lifting of all restrictive measures. This is due to the domestic and foreign policies of states, the number of infected, economic development, etc. The article examines the features of the recovery of tourism in Russia after the COVID19. A number of state measures and programs, as well as assistance and support from the non-state sector, are aimed at restoring and promoting, first of all, domestic tourism. This positive trend stimulates the domestic economy and increases the country’s attractiveness for foreign tourists.
