The Article is devoted to the study of state regulation models of economy in order to determine the directions of changes of the basic concepts of socioeconomic development of China, establishing the influence of selected government model on the level of economic state and prospects of its improvement. The main research methods used were historical retrospective method, analytical method, and formal logical method, which were used to study and interpret legal acts related to economic regulation, identify the reasons for changes in economic policy and the relationship between consistently applied models, and assess their impact on the economic state of the state.
