The author attempts to highlight and characterize the role of Russia in the process of solving the problem with North Korean nuclear weapons. The article also describes the events that were caused by the actions of the Russian side during the settlement of the Korean situation. The author comes to the conclusion that although the role of Russia in solving the problem of the Korean Peninsula was rather small, the representatives of the Russian Foreign Ministry managed to get things off the ground by joint actions with Chinese diplomats.
