        <p>Differing estimated interpretations of German press regarding Russian Foreign policy activities and its role in the August 2008 conflict in South Caucasus, events of which transformed into a high-scale informational warfare, are considered in the article. The German position of mass media and the German legal basis of information policy are described, the relevance of some form of printed media is analyzed in the work.</p>
