        <p>The article examines the conditions for the spread of Russian explorers in Siberia and
the Far East. The analysis of the relationship between the Russian state and the Qing Empire.
Special attention is paid to the conditions for the establishment of the settlement of Russian
soldiers in China. Discusses the work of the first Russian Orthodox parish in Beijing.</p>
