        <p>The article considers main specifics and local forms of early nationalism in Korea,
Japan, China and Vietnam. At the early stage, the nationalism in both Korea and Vietnam
based on “the conflict between the white and yellow races” being under the strong influence
of Japan. Further, the nationalism there was closely connected to national liberation struggle
and revolutionary movement in China.</p>
