        <p>The article deals with the newspapers’ and magazines’ articles devoted to the
period of the World War II published in Belarus. Chronologically the article embraces
the period from 2000 up to 2014. The comparative analysis of popular state and
independent mass media approaches in understanding the period of the World War II
is given and the main problems of every actual war aspect are determined.</p>
