The ratio of soldiers to the military physicians, their image in the public consciousness are analyzed on the base of folk songs of the Great Patriotic War. On the basis of such features folk art in 1941–1945, as a special popular of lyric songs, processing of fixed plots, it is proofed the special role women’s images in medical subjects and their symbolic value as the embodiment of hope and charity in war.
