The article explorers the specifics of migrantophobia and extremism in Europe, mainly in United Kingdom and France. The results of some case studies and statistics are analyzed. Special focus is on measures to prevent and counter radicalization of the at-risk groups. Also, the paper examines the current situation of immigrant communities in terms of the international human rights law, because it is evident that violations of human rights, including discrimination, racism and xenophobia, destabilize the situation in Europe.
