        <p>The article is devoted to the question of the Russian language communicative competence formation in the learning process of students from Vietnam studying at Russian Federation Universities. Factors contributing adaptation of Vietnamese students at different stages of teaching as well as the description of Russian and Vietnamese language systems comparative data are described. These factors allow the students to avoid Interlingua in studying Russian language. The article contains the monitoring data, which shows the process of adaptation of foreign students to the Russian learning environment at Saint Petersburg State Polytechnic University.</p>
