The main areas of cooperation of St. Petersburg Polytechnic University and the State Technical University named after Le Quy Don in Hanoi (Socialist Republic of Vietnam) are described in the article. Currently, cooperation is developing in the framework of the project "Russian-Vietnamese University of Technology", which is of great importance for the development of relations between the two countries.
