The issue of the current state and prospects of the cooperation between Russia and Australia in the sphere of secondary and higher education is studied in the article. Educational exchange programs are the important part of cultural cooperation between two States. Russia has big and free and dynamic market for Australian educational institutions. The development of educational exchange programs within the cooperation between sister-cities Saint Petersburg and Melbourn is also emphasized in the article.
