The article describes the process of preparing and carrying out the short-term foreign language training class for Finnish and Russian students. The learning process is provided on the basis of “Tandem” activity. This promising and successful course advertises and trains the situations of real communication, case studies. The course proves the development of the students’ communicative competence through the implementation of a student-centered communication in a joint venture.
