The article is devoted to the demonstration of the supporters of Trotsky-Zinoviev, organized on the day of the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the October Revolution. Unlike the Moscow demonstration that took place on the same day, the events in Leningrad have been little studied in the literature and very rarely reflected in memoirs and diaries. In this article, on the basis of previously unused archival materials (primarily from the Zinoviev fund at RGASPI and the fund of the Leningrad Regional Control Commission at CGAIPD), the sequence of the opposition protest on November 7 is restored. This clash, which took place in the two capitals, became the culmination of the internal political struggle of the 1920s, which predetermined the defeat of the opponents of the StalinistBukharin Central Committee. The author also comes to the conclusion that, contrary to the opinion established in historiography, the performances in Moscow and Leningrad were not at all equal in scale, which was influenced by the generally more moderate position of the "Zinovievites".
