In modern scientific research, the analysis of electoral processes in various states is gaining more and more popularity. In modern scientific works, studies of this kind make it possible to make of forecast of the results of subsequent elections and determine the political course of the state. The article reviews the municipal elections of 2008, 2012 and 2017 in Finland and analyzes the correlation of their results with the results of the parliamentary elections of 2011, 2015 and 2019. The main leading parties gaining the most seats are considered. In the final part of the article, conclusions are drawn about the results of the impact of the 2017 municipal elections on the 2019 parliamentary elections.
