The article is devoted to one of the most relevant topics today, namely the trade war between the United States and China. The presented conflict revealed a new milestone in the already tense relations between the global geopolitical players represented by the two countries. The trade war between the United States and China is one of the largest economic conflicts between the leading actors of world trade. Since this rivalry has its impact on other states in both the political and economic spheres, the media around the world pay close attention to the trade war between the United States and China. This article provides a brief description of the causes and stages of the trade war. The features of the coverage of the trade war between the United States and China in the Russian media are also identified and considered.
