In article questions formation of nationalism in China are considered. At the end of the 19th century in the Chinese society, process of formation of the Chinese nation began. At the same time there was a national movement of which Kan Yuwei, Liang Qichao were at the head. Kan Yuwei in the works urged to develop patriotic spirit. The program of reforms which is put forward by it, was under construction on fight of the Chinese people against enslavement. In works Liang Qichao the important place is taken by questions of the hansky nation. He became the first of Chinese who used the word "nationalism".
