        <p>The article examines the legal standards of distance voting by post in the UK and the Republic of Lithuania. The author addresses the experiences, perspectives and challenges in use of the relevant standards of the vote. The originality of the article lies in a detailed analysis of the "voting by mail" British model through detailed electoral actions algorithm review. In addition to the foregoing, the author appeals to the "voting by mail" Lithuanian version peculiarities. Using scientific methods of cross-temporal approach and legal framework "voting by mail" analysis, the author concludes active integration feasibility in the election process of the Russian Federation researched voting technology.</p>
