The article deals with the problem of expansion of Belly Dance as the element of Arabic culture in the context of the diverse modern Russian culture. In literature on cultural and historical study the subject is considered for the first time. On the basis of the analysis carried out interviews and surveys (including the Internet sources) the vast expansion of Belly dance and learning the Arab-Islamic traditions among Russian women are mentioned. The author concludes that the Russian Belly dance performers have taken on special significance in the world.
