This article is devoted to a prominent Swedish politician Olof Palme. The main aim of this work is to analyze his student activity in the 1950's. The article discusses the beginning of his political career from the post of the Assistant Secretary of the Swedish United Union of students to the chairman of the international committee of SUUS, as well as the creation of a new international association, the International Student Conference ISC
