The article presents the main stages of formation of the system of political views introduced by Pierre Elliott Trudeau, who was the Prime Minister of Canada and leader of the Canadian Liberal Party in 1960s-1980s. The adoption of this system as the governing ideology of the Liberal Party and the Canadian society contributed to the country's successful development. Additionally, the paper points out the lack of studies on the Trudeau's political philosophy and the necessity of studying it in a bilateral sense - from the theoretical and practical points of view.
