This research analyzes how Sweden has developed ideas of anti-racism and tolerance in order to build-up a multicultural society. These ideas are considered to reduce social tension and serve as the mainstream for many organizations such as private research foundation “Expo”. It was established in 1995 to identify and study the anti-democratic, extremist and racist tendencies, to raise public awareness of organized intolerance, as well as to defense democracy and freedom of speech in Swedish society.
